Anyone who has ever seen Steve Oliver perform live will already know what a versatile artist he really is. This fine guitar player has been a staple on the smooth jazz scene since 1999 when his album ‘First View’ hit the streets and now his repertoire is expanding with ‘Pictures & Frames’, his first all vocal recording.
As Steve himself explains it, "This vocal album has been a long time coming. I have always been a singer, songwriter and guitarist so the time was perfect to write Pictures & Frames. I got to record at the legendary Capitol Studios in Hollywood, CA and used Frank Sinatra's microphone on his 100th Birthday, a bucket list of mine!"
‘Pictures & Frames’ will be released May 20 and the first single is the extremely engaging ‘Why’.
Look out for it and check back here soon for a complete review of ‘Pictures & Frames’.
