Smooth jazz radio top thirty most played for the seven days ending November 25. Brian Culbertson is back in top spot with ‘Hookin Up’ from his CD ‘It’s On Tonight’ and that means Euge Grooves ‘Get Em Going’ drops one place to 2. However, for the first time in awhile, something new forces its way into the top five. Rick Braun's ‘Shining Star’ from his latest album ‘Yours Truly’ is up two at 4.
Other winners are Brian Simpson and ‘It’s All Good’, up one at 9 and Richard Elliot with ‘Mystique’, up four at 12. As predicted last week ‘East Bay Bounce’ from Paul Taylor is a new entry at 28 while the excellent Najee climbs four more places to 16.
‘Good Morning Heartache’ by Chris Botti featuring Jill Scott is up two at 17 and one of last weeks new entries, ‘Pacifica’ from Michael Lington’s new one ‘Stay With Me’, climbs five places to 23.
Just under the thirty and likely to chart next week is Kirk Whalum with ‘I’ll Make Love To You’ from his Babyface tribute album, and Paul Brown’s ‘Winelight’, the latest single from his current CD ‘The City’. Check back next week and every week for news of the tracks that are hot on American smooth jazz radio.
